In the January 18, 2001 issue of "Backstage West", theatre critic Madeleine Shaner selected "Memoirs of a Ninja" multiple times on her picks for the FIve Best Theatre Productions of the year 2000.

"Memoirs of a Ninja" won Honorable Mentions in all of the following categories:
